PROPERTIES:

VITAMIN D3

A fat soluble “sunlight vitamin”, it works with vitamin A in calcium and phosphorus absorption and metabolism and thus the formation of a normal skeleton, beak and claws, and egg shells. Rickets occurs in young birds while cage layer fatigue (osteomalacia) occurs in mature females. It can be mistaken for other causes of deforming leg weakness in poultry. Vitamin D3 is recommended to treat deficiencies. In cases of severe mycotoxicosis.

Vitamin D3 Deficiency symptoms

Abnormal development of the bones. A deficiency can result in rickets in young growing chickens or in osteoporosis and poor eggshell quality in laying hens, even though the diet may be well supplied with calcium and phosphorus.

TARGET SPECIES:

Chickens, turkeys, rabbits and cattle.

INDICATIONS:

Vitamin D3 used in :

• Week bone formation in fast growing chickens.

• Week egg shell.

• Decrease egg cracks.

• Improve hatchability.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

1Ml/10 liter of drinking water

• The medicated drinking water should be prepared fresh daily.

• During treatment use the medicated water as only source for drinking.
