COMPOSITION:

Each 1 Litre contains:

• Menadion sodium bisulfite 400 Gm

• Excipients up to 1 Litre.

PROPERTIES:

Vitamin K3 is a member of fat-soluble vitamins, it is essential for the formation of prothrombin in the liver that is essential to blood coagulation , and lack of the vitamin results in hypothrombinaemia.

Vitamin K is easily destroyed by sunlight and the use of certain drugs, such as antibacterial treatments can counteract the action of the vitamin resulting in deficiency symptoms.

Vitamin k3 Deficiency symptoms:

• Massive haemorrhages anywhere on the body, but particularly on the breast, wings and legs.

• Anaemia and a reduction in bone marrow.

• Bleeding to death can occur from a minor injury.

• Decrease hatchability and embryonic mortality after 18 day of incubation.

TARGET SPECIES:

Chickens, turkeys, rabbits and cattle.

INDICATIONS:

KAVETA is used in all haemolytic cases like coccidiosis, Gumboro disease, Parasitic infestations, Haemorrahgic anaemia and after treatment with Sulphonamides.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

1Ml/ 1liter of drinking water

WARNING& PRECAUTIONS:

• Keep this and all medication out of reach of children.

• For Veterinary use only .

• To be used by Veterinary Prescription Order.

• The medicated drinking water should be prepared fresh daily.

• During treatment use the medicated water as only source for drinking.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:

• Store in dark place, away from direct sunlight under dry conditions at or below 25°C.
