COMPOSITION:

Each 100 Ml contains:

Oxytetracycline dehydrate 21.6gm Equvilant to Oxytetracycline base 20gm
Excipient up to 100 Ml

MODE OF ACTION:

Oxytetracycline inhibits cell growth by inhibiting translation. It binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit and prevents the amino-acyl tRNA from binding to the A site of the ribosome. The binding is reversible in nature. Oxytetracycline is lipophilic and can easily pass through the cell membrane or passively diffuses through porin channels in the bacterial membrane.

ANTIMICROBIAL SPECTRUM:

Act against Gram-ve and gram +ve bacteria.

PROPERTIES:

Ultramycin L.A.is a broad-spectrum bacteristatic antibiotic from tetracyclines.
Ultramycin L.A. acts by inhibiting protein synthesis.
Ultramycin L.A. is formulated to give a sustained action when given by deep I/M inj.In cattle,camels,sheep and goat; and by S/C inj. In poultry and rabbits.
Ultramycin L.A. is quickly distributed with high serum level.
Ultramycin L.A. Oxytetracycline HCL is active against gram +ve and gram -ve bacteria, like chlamydia, mycoplasma, rickettsia, Actinobacillus spp., Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus spp., and Streptococcus spp. Anaplasmas.

INDICATIONS:

Cattle, Camels, Sheep & Goats:

Pneumonia, Pasteurellosis, Calf diphtheria, Foot rot, Navel / Joint ill, Post-operative infections, post parturient infections, Actinobacillosis, Abscesses, wound infections, Acute anaplasmosis, Mastitis, Metritis.

Poultry & Rabbits:

Fowel cholera in layers, Complicated CRD in broilers, Respiratory diseases and septicemia in rabbits.

TARGET SPECIES:

Cattle, Camels, Sheep, Goats, rabbits, Poultry .

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Cattle,Camels,Sheep & Goats (By deep I/M inj.):

1ml Ultramycin L.A. /10 kg B. Wt. (equivalent to 20 mg Oxytetracycline base / kg B. Wt.).

Poultry & Rabbits:(By S/C inj.):

0.25 ml Ultramycin L.A. / kg B. Wt. (equivalent to 50 mg Oxytetracycline base / kg B. Wt.)

WARNING& PRECAUTIONS:

Keep out of reach of children.
For Veterinary use only .
To be used by Veterinary Prescription Order.
Restricted dose must be followed .
Do not dilute the preparation.
Not recommended for cats, dogs and horses.
If the dose exceeds 20 ml in cattle and 5ml in sheep and goats, the preparation is injected in different sites.
